What we designed for Future Sports.
One crest, three grounds.
The FS mark with the chevrons: cream and gold on navy, navy and gold on white, one colour on gold. Every post, the website and the Instagram avatar use the same mark.
- On navy — the feed
- On white — print and kit
- On gold — one colour
Palette
- Navy#0B1A3C
- Gold#C9942B
- White#FFFFFF
- Pitch#1B2E5C
Type
Every player, further forward.
Condensed bold, upper case · Two weights, one line navy, the next gold
The lines
- 01Every player, further forward.
- 02Develop. Compete. Achieve.
- 03Developing today. Champions tomorrow.
- 04First touch. Big possibilities.
- 05Four stages. One academy.
The system, in four parts.
What the academy received, in the order it was built.
- Mark01
The crest
An FS monogram in a shield, two chevrons beneath it for the pathway forward. Drawn to hold at avatar size and on a kit.
- Colour02
Navy, gold, white
Navy for the ground, gold for the line that matters, white for the band the line sits on. Pitch blue for diagrams.
- Type03
Condensed, upper case
A display face in two weights, so one sentence can split into a navy half and a gold half.
- Voice04
Short lines, one idea
Develop, compete, achieve. Every line a coach could say on the pitch, and most of them are.
The same brand, two places.
The crest in the website header we built and as the Instagram avatar. One file, one palette, one set of lines.

Where the mark lives.

Every player, further forward.
The Future Sports case study, in five lines.
- 01Brand identity and logo design for Future Sports, the academy running Qatar Foundation football at Education City, Doha, by brainiac/studio.
- 02The FS crest: a monogram in a shield with two chevrons, delivered for navy, white and one-colour print.
- 03Navy, gold, white and pitch blue, each with one job.
- 04A condensed upper-case display face in two weights, so every line splits into a navy half and a gold half.
- 05Five brand lines, written for the pitch. The website and the Instagram feed use the same files.
What Future Sports needed from a brand.
A football academy competes for a parent's trust against clubs with decades of history. Future Sports needed to look established on the day it opened, with a mark a child would recognise on a shirt and a parent would recognise in a feed.
The academy's whole offer is structure: four stages, fourteen weeks, twenty-eight sessions, qualified coaches. The identity had to carry that discipline without looking like a corporation.
The mark, the website and the feed are seen within minutes of each other. A parent taps a post, lands on the site, then checks the profile. All three had to be unmistakably the same organisation, from one set of files.

How the identity was built for Future Sports.
- 01
The crest
An FS monogram inside a shield, with two chevrons beneath it for the pathway forward. Drawn to hold at avatar size and on a kit, and delivered in three versions: cream and gold on navy, navy and gold on white, one colour for print.
- 02
Colour
Navy for the ground, gold for the line that matters, white for the band the line sits on, and a pitch blue for diagrams. Four colours, each with one job.
- 03
Type
A condensed, upper-case display face in two weights, so a single sentence can split into a navy half and a gold half: Every player, further forward.
- 04
The lines
Develop, compete, achieve. Developing today, champions tomorrow. Every line short enough for a coach to say on the pitch, and written so a post, a hero and a shirt can carry the same one.
- 05
Handover
The crest as vector files, the colour and type sheet, post templates and the avatar and favicon sizes, so the website we built and the feed we run draw from the same source.
What Future Sports received.
What people ask about brand identity work.
- Did brainiac/studio design the Future Sports logo?
- Yes. The FS crest, the chevrons beneath it and the navy-and-gold system are the studio's work, delivered as vector files for the avatar, the website, print and kit. The website case study shows the crest in the site header; the social media case study shows it on every post.
- What does a brand identity from brainiac/studio include?
- The mark in every version it needs, a colour and type sheet, the lines the brand speaks in, and templates for the places it will be used first. For Future Sports that meant post templates and the avatar and favicon sizes, because the feed and the website launched together.
- Why a crest rather than a wordmark?
- Football is a crest culture: a parent expects a shield on the shirt and the child expects one too. A monogram inside it keeps the mark legible at avatar size, where a full wordmark would not.
- Can brainiac/studio design a brand for a club, school or academy in Qatar?
- Yes. Future Sports is a Doha academy we branded; Ten Little Toes is a Doha retailer we branded. Start with the design page or send us the brief over WhatsApp.
