Someone who answers when it breaks.

Software does not sit still. Platforms ship breaking changes, certificates expire, plugins conflict. We keep yours running — whether we built it or not.

In short

We take over the running of software you already have: security updates, backups, uptime monitoring, and fixes when something breaks. Monthly, cancel any time, and we will take on systems another team built. You get a named person, not a ticket queue.

what this actually means

Most sites do not break dramatically. They rot quietly.

A plugin update conflicts and the contact form silently stops sending. A certificate expires and browsers start warning people off. An OS release breaks a library and the app crashes on the newest phones. None of it announces itself — you find out when a customer mentions it, or when the enquiries stop.

So the job is mostly watching. We monitor uptime and errors, apply updates in a copy first, keep backups you could actually restore from, and fix things before you hear about them.

We take on software other teams built. That is most of this work, and we will tell you honestly what state it is in before you commit to anything.

what we build

What is covered.

01

Security updates

Core, plugins, dependencies. Tested in a copy first, so an update never takes the live site down.

02

Uptime and error monitoring

We know before you do, and usually before a customer does.

03

Backups you could restore from

Taken automatically and tested periodically. An untested backup is a hope, not a plan.

04

Fixes when something breaks

Bugs, broken forms, payment failures. A named person, not a queue.

05

Small changes

Copy edits, a new page, a price change. The things that stall for weeks because nobody owns them.

06

Speed kept in check

Sites get slower as content grows. We watch Core Web Vitals rather than waiting for rankings to slip.

07

OS and platform changes

Apple and Google ship breaking changes yearly. We keep apps working through them.

08

A monthly note

What we did, what we found, what needs deciding. Short, and in plain language.

What actually happens without cover.

Not theoretical. These are the things that go wrong on unmaintained software, and how you usually find out.

use cases

When you need this.

01

Whoever built it has gone

Agency moved on, developer left. The most common reason people call us, and entirely fixable.

02

Nobody knows if it is backed up

If you cannot answer that in one sentence, you do not have backups you can rely on.

03

Small changes take weeks

Because there is nobody whose job it is. A retainer turns a three-week wait into a change that happens this week.

04

It is business-critical

If a day offline costs real money, the cover costs less than the day.

approach

How we work.

01

We look at what you have

Code, hosting, backups, what is out of date. You get an honest assessment first — including if we think you do not need us.

02

We fix what is urgent

Security holes, missing backups, anything already broken. Before any ongoing arrangement starts.

03

We set up monitoring

Uptime, errors, certificates, performance. So problems reach us rather than your customers.

04

We update on a schedule

In a copy first, then live. Monthly for most things, immediately for security.

05

We answer when you need us

A named person who knows your setup. Response times agreed upfront and in writing.

06

We report monthly

What we did, what we found, what needs your decision. One short page.

faq

Frequently asked.

6 questions answered. Still have one? Reach out.

Yes, and that is most of this work. We start by reading the code and telling you plainly what state it is in. Occasionally the honest answer is that rebuilding costs less than maintaining, and we would rather say that than bill you monthly to prop up something unmaintainable.
