First engineering manager hire. You’ll manage 6–10 senior engineers, run hiring, and shape our engineering practice. You will still write code 1 day a week.
What you’ll do
- 01Manage 6–10 senior engineers (1:1s, growth, performance)
- 02Lead engineering hiring
- 03Shape practice — code review standards, ADRs, runbooks
- 04Hold a 1-day-per-week IC commitment
What you’ll need
- 013+ years managing senior engineers
- 02Track record of hiring and growing senior ICs
- 03Strong technical IC background (8+ years)
- 04Karachi-based or willing to relocate
